We check subfloor levelness to 3/16″ tolerance per 10 feet, apply self-leveling compound when needed, and use the correct underlayment for your building type. In NYC co-ops, that means acoustic cork to meet noise transmission rules. No shortcuts — just floors that don’t creak, gap, or cup.

Level 5 finish, clean trim work, and correct paint sheen — the difference between “done” and “done right.” Why Level 5 matters: Drywall finishing has 5 industry levels. Level 5 means a full skim coat over the entire surface, creating walls so smooth they hold up under natural light and dark paint colors without showing imperfections. We pair that with crisp crown molding miters, clean caulk lines, and the right sheen for each room: flat for ceilings, eggshell for walls, semi-gloss for trim. Details you feel, even if you can’t name them.
